Hunt for Treasure at Mitchell Road

A vintage marketplace that's dog-friendly? Be still our beating hearts. Mitchell Road is a vintage marketplace stuffed with wares dating right back to the Victorian era. Each stall is curated by individual sellers so there's a little something for everyone depending on your era of interest. Best of all, your pup, given they are well-behaved, is welcome to browse the aisles with you.

Sitchu Tip: Once you're done shopping, head over to Yulli's Brews for a dog-friendly pint and some top-tier nosh.

The Boatshed Woronora offers canoe and kayak hire from 8am, seven days a week and they're more than happy for you to bring your doggo along to enjoy. Explore Sydney's Abundance of Outdoor Markets

Sydneysiders are more than a little smitten with markets so naturally the market scene is a top spot for parading pooches. Plenty of suburbs across town now offer their own farmers markets whilst The Rocks Markets and Kirribilli Markets are great if you're looking to pick up gifts. If you're lucky, there might even be a dog treat stall for your little friend to shop from.

Romp Around Sydney Park

Sydney Park is a veritable doggie wonderland. Large swathes of the park are off-leash and there's even a paddling pool for the pups to cool off in. For the humans, we recommend grabbing a coffee and sandwich on your way over from Good Ways Deli in Alexandria or settling in to watch sun set at the top of one of the rolling hills with a pizza.

Pack a Picnic and Frolic Along Glebe Foreshore

The Glebe Foreshore is a great spot to soak up the sun, meet some new furry friends and enjoy some exercise. If you're feeling energetic, leash up and make your way along the Glebe Foreshore walk from Bicentennial Park to the Sydney Fish Markets. You can stop off anywhere along the way to enjoy the masses of green space or, better yet, head to Blackwattle Bay for a dog-friendly beach session. There are plenty of off-leash areas along the way, too!

Be sure to pack plenty of water as you're both likely to work up a sweat. Peckish? Treat yourself to a marg and guac in the outdoor seating area of El Corazon Cocina de Mexico in Kiama whilst soaking up harbour views.
