They have an impressive day menu of smoothies, salads, bowls and plates that are filled with superfoods, as well as a dinner menu consisting of vegan pizzas, salad bowls and burgers. You know you're going to eat well when you walk into Veggie Vie!

Located in the heart of West Croydon, this cafe is a short drive from the CBD, perfect for inner suburban Adelaideans wanting to head out for breakfast or lunch. Most of their food is made by hand in house, with the exception of a few select items that are sourced from local suppliers. 

Joy of Flora's all-day breakfast menu features hot crossiants, tofu scramble, and a vegan big breakfast for any hungry bellies. They also have healthy buddha bowls if you're craving something more on the lunch side of things, sourdough, toasties, curry, lasagne and more. If you still have room after your meal, make sure you get one of their raw cakes for a sweet treat afterwards.

You’re in safe hands with Head Chef Brendan Wessels at the helm, formally of d’Arenberg Cube, who serves up what can only be described as edible artwork on a plate.

Their menu is broken down into vegetable or meat categories with no fancy names for their dishes, simply stating what you see is what you get. And what you get is a whole lot, with options including Swiss mushrooms with white bean and chilli crisp, sumac labneh with almonds and barley, and wood oven cabbage with nori and tahini.

Oyster, portobello, shimeji and king brown mushrooms are piled high with roasted heirloom beetroots and herb aioli, and served on toasted brown rice with a sweet potato mash.

We're also big fans of the zucchini, corn and cheese fritters, with mint pea puree and fried leek. This vegetarian cafe in Adelaide is (almost) too good to be true!

Kombucha and nitro brew coffee are on tap, and there's plenty of colourful, warming botanical brews that will have you sipping your way to nourishment and vitality. 

On the food front, smoothie bowls, avo toast, tofu scramble and their toasties are all lip-smackingly scrumptious. You need to try their beloved mac 'n' cheese toastie - it'll be one epic serve of notzarella for you!
