78 on Rundle

78 on Rundle

We love this charming corner cafe in Kent Town - and their expertly crafted chilli scramble!

Newly renovated, 78 on Rundle is a perfect brunch in Adelaide experience, with elevated dishes, fantastic coffee and cosy vibes abundant. It also deftly transforms from a warm and welcoming brunch destination to a snug wine bar, Thursday through Saturday.

It's also the perfect people watching spot for when the sun's out and the sidewalk tables beckon. Whether you're sipping on a coffee or a glass of wine, this is low-key one of the best spots to brunch and dine in the city.

78 Rundle Street, Kent Town

Carton Deli

Carton Deli

Sometimes you want to head out for a loaded plate of bacon and eggs or a towering stack of pancakes, and other times, a simple sando will suffice. As the sando craze continues to take over the Adelaide brunch scene, we are consistently on the hunt for the next simple and tasty sandwich to dig into, and Carton Deli is providing exactly that.

Serving up sandwiches and coffees six days a week, be sure to head in soon to try the Breakfast Bocadillo with omelette, cheese, ham and onion chilli jam, or the Turkish eggplant with red sauce, sultanas, pickled red onions and peanut butter, for a more unexpected but still delightfully tasty combo.

62 Pulteney Street, Adelaide

Magill Estate Kitchen

Magill Estate Kitchen

Loved for their fine dining experiences and views of the Penfolds vines, you'd be forgiven for not knowing that Magill Estate Kitchen also offers brunch. Perhaps you've got a birthday to celebrate, or you want to elevate your next coffee catch up with the girls, either way - you'll be well looked after here. Choose from mushrooms on sourdough with cashew cream, spicy fried buttermilk chicken on waffles with maple butter and hot sauce, or keep it simple with eggs your way on daily house made focaccia. Be sure to take in those stunning views while you're at it.

Bloom

Breakfast in a beautiful converted barn with high ceilings and its own brick heath? Count us in. As the food dances over coals (we're drooling over their cooked over the fire sourdough, with poached eggs and charred squash relish), the coffee brews and alcohol flows. Bloom is the kind of place you can catch up with an old friend for hours on end, in a relaxed atmosphere by the River Torrens, that just so happens to photograph well. Because what’s the point of a beautiful brunch if you can’t post about it?

Say hello to the cool kids on the block at Yolk in Walkerville. This airy, bright and leafy space will welcome you and fill you with a sense of calm as you settle in at your table. The folk at yolk also encourage customers to branch out and try their unique offering of coffee brewed from frozen Veneziano beans. Good food, good coffee and good people – otherwise known as the trifecta for a brilliant brunch.
