VENTURE NORTH: NORTH Festival

This is your sign to head north this weekend. Get ready to indulge in the flavours of Launceston during the NORTH Festival, running from October 9th to 23rd. This vibrant celebration of Tasmania's incredible produce invites locals and visitors alike to eat, drink, and experience the best of Northern Tasmania. 

Over two weeks, you can sample delicious bites, sip on local beverages, and engage in unique experiences, from gin and vodka tastings to delightful high tea parties at the stunning Cataract Gorge. Most events are ticketed, so be sure to secure your spot and avoid missing out on these culinary adventures.

Plus, don’t forget to explore the exclusive offerings in the “What's on the menu?” section, showcasing hidden gems and beloved venues across Launceston. With a program packed full of workshops, live music, and meet-the-maker events, it’s time to eat your heart out, Launceston!

Celebrating over 50 years, this iconic market boasts more than 300 stalls featuring an array of local goods, from unique records and handcrafted woodwork to the exquisite Leatherwood honey and artisanal whisky.

Perfectly situated, you can seamlessly wander from one stall to the next, sampling goodies and savouring a cup of coffee. We're eyeing up the delectable Lady Hester sourdough donuts on hand.

TREAT YOURSELF: Agrarian Kitchen Stay, Tour & Dine

One of the most celebrated restaurants in Tasmania is throwing open its doors for an immersive experience made for foodies for an exclusive Stay, Tour & Dine experience. You’ll stay at the luxe Tasman Hotel in the city and can opt for a chauffeur to take you to the Agrarian Kitchen in New Norfolk. 

Once there, take a secret garden tour at the Agrarian Kitchen to learn about the produce they grow and harvest on-site, get a copy of the Agrarian Kitchen Cookbook and enjoy lunch before returning to your accommodation.

The package includes a daily breakfast for two at The Tasman’s renowned restaurant, Peppina, however, the lunch at the Agrarian Kitchen is not included in the room cost.
