When an A-list star touches down in Sydney, one thing is certain — where they eat, stay, and play will make headlines and inspire fans to follow suit.

Case in point? When Taylor Swift stormed our harbour city in February, you most likely knew that she went to Sydney Zoo not once but twice, stayed at the Crown Towers Sydney, and dined at the oh-so-trendy Surry Hills restaurant, Pellegrino 2000.

The latest celeb to announce they'll be hitting our shores? Olivia Rodrigo, whose angsty yet upbeat tunes have been at the top of our Spotify playlists since her smash "Drivers Licence" was released in 2021.

She's bringing her GUTS World Tour Down Under in October, playing Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena on the 9th and 10th, and heading to Sydney for two shows at Qudos Bank Arena on the 17th and 18th.

And when Zendaya visited Sydney in March to promote her upcoming film, Challengers, she also managed to sneak in a few fabulous meals at some iconic Sydney eateries, and you better believe we made a note of every single place. 

Her most notable meal was at Sean's Panaroma in Bondi. With paintings adorning the walls, sweeping views of the ocean, and fresh roses from their farm on each table, this beachside institution is all charm, so it's no surprise the 27-year-old added it to her foodie schedule. Homely in vibe, the intimate dining room and home-style cooking make it one of the best restaurants not just in Bondi, but Sydney. 

Next, the Emmy award-winning actor dined out at vegan restaurant Yellow in the buzzing neighbourhood of Potts Point. This joint is all about that 100% vegan vibe. Yellow's dishes are centred around contemporary vegan meals, with every plate featuring produce grown by local suppliers. Housed in a converted 1950s art gallery, Yellow is the perfect mix of hip and healthy. The Euphoria star has been a vegetarian for years now, so it's fitting that she checked out this popular venue. 

Zendaya also explored the bustling bar scene of inner-city Sydney, enjoying a tipple at Saké Restaurant & Bar in The Rocks. Attracting foodies from all over thanks to its washoku (traditional Japanese cuisine) and mind-blowingly long sake list. It knows its clientele well, offering express lunches and bento box deals during the week and a string of private dining rooms (perfect for an A-lister who wants to fly incognito) for those who want to feast with a more intimate group.

When Taylor Swift touched down in Sydney for her Eras tour this February, it's safe to say the city became obsessed with her every move, including where she ate!

During a rare night off, Taylor and her support act, Sabrina Carpenter. enjoyed a well-deserved meal at Pellegrino 2000 in Surry Hills. The venue, led by Daniel Pepperell and Michael Clift, the acclaimed duo behind Bistrot 916, one of our favourite Potts Point restaurants, mixes things up with fresh new twists on old-school classics. From the beautiful interiors to the sumptuous menu, this one is most definitely worth adding to your Surry Hills restaurant hit list.

Setting up camp at the Crown Towers while in town, the singer conveniently headed downstairs from her presidential suite for a bite at Japanese hotspot Nobu for dinner. Located in Crown Sydney, this global culinary hotspot is a favourite of celebrities and locals alike.

The restaurant artfully combines Chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa's expertise with the local talents of Chef Harold Hurtada. Japanese tradition blends with locally sourced ingredients, offering imaginative dishes and global classics for a truly Gorgeous meal.

As one of the most respected celebrity chefs, if something is good enough for Nigella Lawson, then you better believe it will genuinely live up to the hype. 

She's clocked up many trips to Sydney over the years, but during her most recent stay for her live national tour, An Evening With Nigella Lawson, the star wasted no time heading to the twice-hatted seafood hot spot Petermen in St Leonards on the North Shore. The 64-year-old described her meal at Petermen as "wonderful." 

Petermen boasts a punchy and exciting menu from the husband-and-wife duo Josh and Julie Niland behind Saint Peter, Fish Butchery, and Charcoal Fish. Dishes like Eden line-caught John Dory, Jervis Bay mussels and Tasmanian saffron, Mooloolaba yellowfin tuna and ananda capers, and sweet and sour Ulladulla blue mackerel are a must-try. 

On the same trip, Nigella also had a bite to eat at Cho Cho San in Potts Point. Equal parts playful and chic, Cho Cho San is where the cool kids go for Japanese – and it’s worth every Instagram. With a menu designed for sharing, it’s a great place to go with a group, so you can order a bit of everything.

Anyone who has watched Keeping Up With The Kardashians knows that oldest sister, Kourtney Kardashian, has a reputation for being quite particular with what she eats.

So, what Sydney destinations made the cut for the reality TV star when she was in town this February alongside husband Travis Barker for his band Blink 182's tour? 

Kourt and her family feasted their way around Sydney, with one of their first meals Down Under at Fred's in Paddington. This charming spot exudes the warmth of a friend's rustic country home, where you can perch at the kitchen counter for an intimate view of culinary magic over the open-fire hearth.

Here, it's all about life's simple luxuries with a French twist, from just-harvested greens to artisanal bread and sustainably sourced meats and seafood. The thoughtfully crafted wine list celebrates ethical choices and small growers who embrace environmentally friendly practices.

Barker and Kardashian made a beeline to the Rock n Roll Burger Joint in Bondi, which is fitting as the menu has several burgers named after the band. While in the beachside neighbourhood, they also chowed down at Sydney's most famous vegan pastry locale, Funky Pies. 

Kourt treated her kids Reign and Penelope to brunch at Mimi's in Coogee and breakfast, and of course, gelato at the one and only Messina (Reign ordered the blood-orange sorbet). 

Finally, no trip to Sydney is complete without a pilgrimage to Bills in Bondi, and Kourt and her family enjoyed lunch here during their whirlwind visit. The group ordered the hotcake, the grass-fed burger, and pasta. Well played!
