Pace Yourself Run Club is perfect for those keen on a relaxed, self-paced run that meets at a reasonable 8am every Saturday. With Centennial Park as the backdrop and the promise of a coffee and chats post-run, it's a great way to kick off the weekend.

There are few places more scenic than The Rocks to partake in a midweek run. A free club geared around getting your heart rate up, there will be an onsite trainer on hand to guide you along.

Parkrun is one of the OG run clubs. Following a super simple formula, they offer a free community event that consists of a 5km walk, run or jog every Saturday morning. The best bit? There are 498 locations across Australia. All you have to do is jump on and register here and you're good to go.

Chinatown Run Club is another social club that aims to connect people via the language of movement. They don't have any set days, so it's best to follow along on social media to check when and where the next run will be. Their runs are typically around 7km and they welcome people of all experience levels so don't be shy!
The Run Club Darling Harbour

Started as a means to connect and socialise, Croissant Run Club now has 30 clubs worldwide. Free, cruisey and devoid of pressure, Croissant Run Club runs 5km every Saturday at locations across Sydney.
Kings Cross Track Club
Perfecting the delicate balance between organised and relaxed, Kings Cross Track Club welcomes one and all to join their runs, each led by a Kings Cross Track Club run leader. There's no signup or membership, just turn up for a good time. Routes may vary but the times don't. Looking for something to do on a Friday that'll set you up for a fab weekend ahead? The Run Club Barangaroo could well be it.
