Raclette Igloo Experience

We've partnered with Raclette Igloo Experience to share why this gourmet culinary event taking over Sydney this month should be on your winter to-do list.

After sell-out events in Canberra, Adelaide and Melbourne, the highly-anticipated (and viral) Raclette Igloo Experience will be popping up in Sydney this month.

Consider this your chance to indulge in oozing, melted Raclette cheese and sip on mulled wine while immersed in a cosy, mountain-style ambience.

A truly magical (and delicious) experience, tickets are on sale now, with the unforgettable event sure to be a sell-out - so get in quick!

The Very Best of Winter in Sydney

Raclette Igloo Experience

This isn't your ordinary dinner out with friends. The Raclette Igloo Experience is an opportunity to immerse yourself in a Winter Wonderland in the heart of a city known for its exceptional food and wine.

With snow gently falling against a backdrop of Sydney's stunning skyline, guests will be surrounded by twinkling fairy lights, with 17 Raclette Igloos - each named for a famous French ski resort - nestled among the setting.

French-speaking staff greet each group, taking them through the finer points of eating Raclette and introducing them to the very French (and very chic) dining experience.

Parties of six or eight people can then experience the warmth and joy of gathering around the Raclette grill, savouring the delicious flavours and enjoying each other's company.

Melted Cheese Heaven

An ever-popular winter dish, Raclette is more than just a meal. In fact, it's an experience steeped in the French tradition of sharing, laughing and of course, indulging.

More than two tonnes of the rich, creamy Raclette cheese will be shipped directly from the French Alps to Sydney for the event, so visitors can experience the authentic flavours and joy the dish brings.

The best-selling cheese in France, Raclette is no ordinary cheese. With a rich, creamy flavour, it's a delight for the tastebuds and a long-time crowd-pleaser.

As part of the Raclette Igloo Experience, groups of six or eight people can indulge in up to two kilos of Raclette cheese, paired with an exquisite selection of cured meats. The cheese is also served with boiled potatoes, pickled onions, and cornichons, all served family-style for a truly immersive and inclusive experience.

Each guest will also be given a glass of mulled wine (with alcohol-free options available) - a match made in heaven with the Raclette dish.

The igloos are also equipped with a mini-bar stocked full of French wines that pair perfectly with the treats on offer. The indulgence continues with dessert, where guests will finish their gastronomic journey by gathering around a fire pit to roast giant marshmallows to gooey, gourmet perfection.
