Celebrate International Women's Day at Sydney Opera House with 16 Female Winemakers
If there's one day we're keen to celebrate more than any other it's got to be International Women's Day. If you're keen to champion some fab ladies, snag a ticket to this event that is celebrating women in wine and hospitality. Not only will the proceeds be donated to not-for-profit charity Women and Revolution, but you'll also get the chance to sample wine from 16 female winemakers. There will be three grazing boards curated by Danielle Alvarez and a conversation on the theme of navigating male-dominated industries to look forward to as well. Gather the gals!

All About Women Festival
One to mark your calendar for, Sydney Opera House's All About Women Festival is back and the schedule is PACKED. Thinkers, authors and all-round wonderful women, from Australia and abroad, will be descending on the Opera House for a day of thought-provoking talks. Highlights include author Rebecca F. Kuang on her book Yellowface and Historian Mary Beard. There will also be conversations about porn, influencers, sad girl novels and so much more. This International Women's Day, Lil Sis will be celebrating with a host of female sommeliers on hand who will be pouring female-produced wines for you across two days. As for eats, you can look forward to a share-style menu curated by Aria's head pastry chef Aoife Noonan and Opera Bar's senior sous chef Naomi Xavier. In collaboration with Two Good Co. and Veuve Clicquot, Chiswick will be playing host to the ultimate ladies' lunch this International Women's Day. Deborah Knight, Zara Seidler and Kyle Westgarth will be your hosts for the day which involves a shared 3 course menu curated by head chef Daniel Cooper. You'll also enjoy a glass of Veuve and canapes on arrival after which you'll be sipping on Australian wines crafted by female winemakers. Public House Petersham is getting behind women in wine this IWD and it's set to be a very good time indeed. The car park will be transformed into a 'wine garden' where you'll find wine tastings, pizza by the slice, and relaxed tunes. There will also be an engaging panel grilling female winemakers and sommeliers on the ins and outs of the industry. And best of all, pups are welcome!
