ALBERT PARK

GET TO KNOW
THE AREA

Beautiful parks, leafy gardens and easy beachside living - you'd never guess that Albert Park is so close to the city and is one of Melbourne's most desirable postcodes. Still, despite its soaring popularity, this charming neighbourhood has held on to its village-like feel.

Lifestyle

With its stunning terrace houses and blossoming gardens, Albert Park is nothing short of aspirational. From the palm tree-lined beachfront to the welcoming shopping village, this leafy neighbourhood has an enduring charm that you'll fall for.

While undoubtedly very affluent, Albert Park has a more low-key vibe than its counterparts in the South-Eastern suburbs due to its close proximity to the beach and city - as evidenced by it stylishly relaxed locals and trendy boutiques and cafés.

"The village", as the strip of shops, cafés and restaurants lining Bridport Street and Victoria Avenue is known, has a strong community feel. Weekends see chatty neighbours gossiping over morning lattes, and waving hello to the stream of familiar faces that stroll past, dogs in tow.

Albert Park is a safe haven for families. The beautiful St Vincent Gardens play host to everything from picnics and wedding photo shoots to leisurely weekend tennis matches. While Albert Park Lake and Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (known locally as MSAC) are hives of sporting activity.

Inviting and oh so easy on the eye, Albert Park has that rare mix of warmth, ease and elegance.
