Thredbo’s dining scene is as impressive as its slopes. From a quirky and quaint Austrian-style lodge in town to steaming hot bowls of ramen mountainside.

On mountain, our top picks include Kareela Hutte where you can enjoy European-style luxury on the slopes with champagne, oysters, charcuterie boards, soups, and tender meats. Or stack your skis at Black Sallees and warm up with a nourishing bowl of ramen, katsu curry or a healthy poke bowls with a side of snowy mountain views.

Located at the top of the Kosciuszko Chairlift awaits Eagle's Nest, Australia’s highest restaurant, offering pizzas, antipasti, lasagne and tiramisu. Sit and sip on an Aperol spritz with breathtaking vistas.

Back in the village you can't go past Candlelight Lodge, an Austrian-inspired restaurant perfect for post-skiing relaxation, offering cheese fondue and hearty European staples by the fire.
