Head to Milkwood Bakery and while you’re there you really need to order the sourdough (they’re renowned for it), or at the very least pick up a little treat for later from their selection of cakes and pastries.

A fixture on the scene for nearly 60 years, The Famous Berry Donut Van is the place to pick up a sweet treat. It serves up cinnamon doughnuts straight from the oven – is there any other way to eat them? – along with hot dogs, pies and coffee.

Il Locale

When the sun’s out, Il Locale Cafe is the go-to but their gelato display will make choosing a flavour the hardest decision of the day. The 70% cow milk gelato is sourced locally, brought in from The Pines in Kiama – and it doesn’t get fresher than that. Located on the main street in Berry, this little gelateria also has a strong lunch menu too. Post-lunch dessert after is a must though.
