Emotion is Dead Launch Party

Emotion is Deada new Australian indie feature film that has been dubbed 'The Most South Aussie Story Ever Told,' is hosting a party to celebrate its launch. There will be snacks, free drinks, and a live question and answer session with some of the cast. A world premiere in the heart of Adelaide isn't something we see every weekend, so it's definitely something to get around before the rest of the world gets to see it!

Chilli Fest at Madame Hanoi

Drop it like it's hot and head to Madame Hanoi this June for their Chilli Fest! Head Chef Sean Thomas has found an array of unique ways to infuse South-East Asian chilli into each dish that's available through the duration of the festival. From chilli salted egg yolk featured in this year’s Red Curry Beef Tartare, to green chilli apple gel atop Freshly Shucked Coffin Bay Oysters. Need to cool down after a few too many chillis? There's no better way to do it than with a refreshing margarita to accompany your meal, whether it be chilli, mango, passionfruit or guava.

It's a hot event you won't want to miss out on, so gather your friends and head on down.

East End Cellars' Paella at the Cellar

On the first Sunday of every month, head to East End Cellars for a warming and comforting lunch at their new Paella Sundays. event. Enjoy the theatrics of a chef cooking up a Spanish-inspired paella in a pop-up pan outside the cellar, paired perfectly with three Spanish wines on pour including Gorrondona Txakoli 2020, Albero Manzanilla En Rama Saca and Legado del Moncayo Garnacha.

The National Wine Centre is kicking off your weekend the right way - with acoustic tunes and good quality wine. 20 Years of Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year

The Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year awards have been around for 20 years now, and you can head to the South Australian Museum to celebrate! This museum has produced the exhibition and competition since 2009, and it's grown increasingly popular since then, and is now recognised on the international photography scene. This particular edition of the exhibition features all of the winning photographs from the past 20 years, and it's not one that you'll want to miss.

Patritti's Cellar II 

Patritti's is hosting Fridays and Sundays at their Cellar II, and both days are filled with delightful wines, food and entertainment. On Fridays, there's an abundance of rotating food trucks for you to pick your street food dinner vibe, as well as live music from local artists for you to enjoy while you sip on Patritti's selection of wines. The same goes for Sunday - it's the perfect end-of-week reset that you need before starting it all over again. Who knows, you may even be back for round two the weekend after!
