Ready your knife and fork because Adelaide’s premium food festival is back this autumn. The sights, sounds, smells and flavours of Tasting Australia return across multiple South Australian destinations from the 3rd to the 12th of May. Headquartering in the Town Square location of Victoria Square North/ Tarntanyangga, the event has a jam-packed line up of foodie events including masterclasses, special talks and feasts galore.

Tasting Australia Adelaide: Food Experiences $100+
Soi 38 x Porkfat: Bangkok to Sydney to Adelaide
Two iconic Thai restaurants in Australia, Soi 38 and Porkfat, are coming together for one very special lunch: Bangkok to Sydney to Adelaide. Porkfat chef, Narin ‘Jack’ Kulasai will be joining the Soi 38 tam in a celebration of Thai cuisine, bringing a bespoke four course meal to attendees, with paired beverages for each course. Porkfat is currently dominating Sydney's food scene and is one of the best Australian restaurants at the moment, so there's no better opportunity for Adelaideans to experience a taste of the restaurant in their home town.

Parkside Dinner
When we say this five course dinner is not one to miss, we mean it. The Parkside Hotel is hosting a Parkside Dinner, inspired by Adelaide Hills lamb. As you've probably guessed, this dinner is filled with all things lamb. Start off with a saltbush damper before getting started on lamb croquettes, glazed lamb cutlet, sous vide and seared lamb rump, and finish off with a sheep’s milk yoghurt brulée for dessert. If lamb is your go-to meat, this is the dinner for you.

Want to participate in tasting Australia, but don't want to spend a pretty penny? You'll love Flavours of the Market at Adelaide Central Market. It's on both Fridays of Tasting Australia, and there's no shortage of activities to do while you're here. This event is any pizza lover's dream - and it certainly helps that it's only $60. Pizza Pizza Seltzer is exactly what it sounds like: a celebration of pizza, seltzer and more pizza. Bite into three pizza courses during this dinner at The Flour Shed at Hart's Mill, and wash it down with the two seltzers you'll get to try during the dinner: Gangurru native river mint and watermelon, and native lime and strawberry. Go on an immersive, agave-filled journey at 2KW, who is hosting an Agave Evolution during Tasting Australia in Adelaide.
