Object Permanence
This raw and thought-provoking still-life exhibition delves into the deep connections between parenting and childhood through objects passed down over generations. At first glance, the bold colours and graphic compositions feel cheerful - but look closer, and you’ll find the hidden chaos of real life: smudged fingerprints, deflated balloons, and tangled hair. Inspired by her journey into motherhood, artist Bri Hammond reflects on how childhood memories resurface in parenthood, shaping how we nurture the next generation.
